Show Notes

One of the biggest contributors to the wage gap among women especially WOC and men is trauma around money. In this episode I speak with Luzy King, a business coach that focuses on helping women of color heal their relationships with money, overcome money-limiting beliefs, pay off debt, and become investors. She talks about her experience growing up financially insecure, and how that affected how she views money and herself. She gets vulnerable about feeling unworthy of building wealth, and how that trauma affects many women today.

Luzy is a first generation investor who identified the lack of financial literacy in disenfranchised communities, especially in women. She now works as a coach and helps decrease lack of female representation in the finance industry, the lack of resources available for women, particularly for Latinas and women of color, and helping women understand financial literacy for a financially free future.
