Felicia is an entrepreneur and advocate for mothers and caregivers. She left her full-time career in marketing and publicity to be a stay-at-home mother to her three children which set her on the path to founding Tend Task, a tech start-up dedicated to tracking, valuing, and sharing the invisible workload of motherhood. Aileen reads, thinks, and writes extensively in the field of women's experiences as individuals in a society that doesn't always value their work as the ones who connect, care for, lift up and hold down most everyone in their lives. As a society, we say we value mothers. That is getting harder and harder to believe.
In this episode, we talk about unpaid labor as a mom and wife and tips and strategies for getting more off our plate and sharing responsibilities on a deeper level.
